 PROJECT

Nuku-family

Children's Center in an emergency situation and cultural center, to date more than 100 children are registered.

     4 actions:

  1. School support

  2. literacy

  3. Reception of children in emergency situations

  4. Language classes

Our ambitions

Continue to receive the hundred children who are enrolled in our cultural center so that they can learn to read, write and count. Thus they will become responsible actors of their life, free and independent.

Take over the schooling of more than 20 children.

Cultivate our field, so we diversify, improve the children's meals and we will sell our surplus to the market.

Receive volunteers, internship students and solidary travelers

Orphanage

NouKou takes care of the tuition fees of some children.

122 children assisted:

  •     52 children housed at the orphanage at Tsévié

  •     70 children housed by residents and fed by the orphanage

FUTURE PROJECT

Building a orphenage

Today we rent a house in Lomé, we dream of building our house NouKou Family on the land we have just acquired in a small village called Kolokopé next to Tsévié, in order to welcome our children And perhaps others. There will be a cultural center as we currently have, a class of different levels and an infirmary.

Build a small house in order to sleep there when we go to work in the field. It will consist of 3 rooms to sleep and a room to cook.

Have a drill: we will need water for the seeds that we will plant.

Improvement of our cultures

Sending containers

To return to the background: thanks to one of our volunteers, Noukou was able to recover medical equipment that would no longer be used in the grouping of clinics.

This opportunity allows us to leave among others medical beds in Lomé and to donate to the INAM (National Institute of Insurance of Togo) which will be able to equip clinics and medical centers.

The INAM, which finances the move, the rental of the warehouse and transport (3 containers of 40 feet), allows us to benefit from the place in the containers to equip our future house Nuku. To allow the children of the Nuku family to be cared for in the medical centers and to create an operating room for the burned children. To say that this is a great chance for us and we are delighted with this agreement.

AMANGA

AMANGA is a humanitarian organisation created in 2007 in Lomé, Togo to help street children and vulnerable children. They work with children aged 6 to 18 who are in disadvantaged situations.

NouKou created in Amagan in 2013 a class, with the aim of support and literacy.

NouKou offers Amagan children school supplies, hygiene products, eyeglasses for children with vision problems

Brigade for minors

The Lomé Juvenile Brigade is a children's prison. Conditions of detention are very alarming: little or nothing to eat, malnutrition, poor hygiene conditions affecting health status, lack of medical assistance in the face of recurring diseases (malaria, diarrhea, scabies) and Wounds, etc.

NuKu brings them food as well as hygiene products. We organize training or sensitization on various subjects. The last formation was in February 2016, training in first aid gestures.

We sell the bags that the children make so when they are released they leave knowing how to make bags but also with a small nest egg

We try to sensitize the authorities to the protection of the fundamental rights of children in conflict with the law, by improving the conditions of detention and the socio-professional reintegration of minors in conflict with the law.

We have set up cells and drain the skeptical pit of the brigade
